It has been designed to provide entrepreneurs with a strategy and formula to accelerate learning and development within entrepreneurship.

It’s aligned with five archetype principles—the keys that will unlock your full potential at work and at home. The archetypes are a ‘starting point’ for transformation—providing entrepreneurs with the ability to benchmark performance and behaviours against specific criteria and character attributes.

They were developed by Mentor Hub’s founder and principal mentor Damian Karaula. Damian has worked extensively with successful people in many different fields, and undertook his own study into the essence of high performance.

The Archetypes

The five Archetypes represent the specific domains, skill sets and behaviours required to achieve peak performance within entrepreneurship.

From delivering an authentic story through to negotiating outcomes with key stakeholders, daily scenarios are treated as opportunities for growth and transformation.

Stage One: Adventurer

All entrepreneurial adventures start with a story. We begin by working with you to craft a story borne of purpose, meaning and impact. What is your story, and how will you create the greatest possible impact in my world?

Stage Two: Dealmaker

We take the story from the Adventurer and find opportunities to engage the marketplace in a deal. The dealmaker comes alive through the practice and repetition of their story in the world. They plant seeds whenever and wherever the opportunity arises.

Stage Three: Operator

The spirit of the Adventurer cannot exist without the discipline, focus and accountability of the Operator. The Operator is all about numbers, systems and measurement. During this stage we build financial acumen and make a commitment to building processes that enable your venture to scale.

Stage Four: Influencer

The influencer understands that for a venture to sustainable, value must be delivered to all parties. During this stage we practice the art of negotiation and influence, the purpose of which is to ensure that value can be delivered throughout the life of the venture.

Stage Five: Warrior

The entrepreneur makes a choice in each and every interaction: will I operate from scarcity or will I choose belief? From telling a powerful story to negotiating a ‘game-changing deal’, we create opportunities to build resilience whenever and wherever the opportunity arises.
